Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 As Christians we have new principles, new visions, new priorities, new passions and even new company. Its far more than an outward change, life has changed permanently. Yet this isn't something that we self generate - it comes from God, some parts right away , some parts over time. The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Psalm 97:1 Let this truth sink deep into the core of your being, let it give you confidence in every twist and turn in life. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. From Hebrews 13:8. Jesus is the same today as he was in the gospel days. He's just as merciful, still answering prayers and walking among us, speaking gently and persistently. Still he feeds the hungry, hates the self-righteous and lifts our eyes to God. Its just as easy to know him today and to listen to his voice. Lord, let me be still and hear you so that I can know you and do your will. Save
